1, Web Host and Domain: A domain is the name of a website, a URL (eg. example.com) is how to find a website, and a website is what people see and interact with when they get there. In other words, when you buy a domain, you have purchased the name for your site, but you still need to build the site and this building needs to be in an environment which is where the Host comes in. So simply put, a domain is the address to your website while a host is the building housing your house.⁣

2, URL: A URL (aka “Universal Resource Locator”) is a complete web address used to find a particular web page. While the domain is the name of the website, a URL will lead to any one of the pages within the website. Every URL contains a domain name, as well as other components needed to locate the specific page or piece of content.⁣

3, HTML: HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language, and is the language of the web. Put simply, HTML provides a way for the web designer to tell your web browser how to treat a particular piece of content. HTML contains a number of different tags that allow the designer to mark up their content with semantic meaning so that paragraphs are identified as text copy, while images are imported as images and so on.⁣
